TechFlow News — In response to the Poly Network hack, the SlowMist security team stated that it has identified the attacker's email, IP address, and device fingerprint through on-chain and off-chain tracking, and is currently pursuing potential identity clues related to the perpetrator. With technical support from SlowMist's partner Hoo.com and multiple exchanges, the SlowMist team discovered that the hacker’s initial fund source was Monero (XMR), which was then exchanged into BNB, ETH, MATIC, and other cryptocurrencies via exchanges before being withdrawn to three separate addresses. Shortly afterward, attacks were launched across three different blockchain networks. SlowMist concluded, "Combining fund flow analysis with multiple fingerprint indicators, this was very likely a premeditated, organized, and well-prepared attack."
