TechFlow news, on July 18, an article published by China Discipline Inspection and Supervision Newspaper titled "Some young officials use digital technology to accept benefits and embezzle large amounts of public funds for online tipping—don't gamble your future with corruption" pointed out that some young officials are leveraging digital technologies to receive illicit benefits and embezzle substantial public funds for online tipping. Fan Zhaocheng, deputy director of the Case Adjudication Office of Fuzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision in Fujian Province, said the emergence of payment methods such as WeChat Pay and Alipay, along with digital currency, has made corrupt acts more convenient and more concealed. This has also led to new forms of criminal behavior, such as forging bank certificates of deposit and reimbursement vouchers using computers, and misappropriating public funds to purchase online financial products.
