TechFlow news, according to reports by National Business Daily, a major state-owned bank has recently started offering digital yuan wallet account opening services in Shanghai for certain specific customers. An insider said the initiative focuses on account-opening experience, and there are currently no actual application scenarios available. The bank's digital yuan wallet account opening is not limited to its employees; however, external individuals must be invited and registered by employees to participate, with participation capped at a limited number of people. Subsequently, the bank will provide a unified download link and invitation code. Additionally, some large banks are preparing to conduct on-site promotion of digital yuan services for enterprises in Shanghai. Initially, priority will be given to companies on the bank’s whitelist that already have POS machines. The scale and scope of promotion are expected to significantly expand next year.
