TechFlow News — According to Yahoo Finance, on December 22, U.S. President Trump rejected signing the coronavirus relief bill and demanded that Congress revise it.
In a video posted on Twitter, Trump criticized multiple shortcomings of the relief package, calling for direct cash payments to be significantly increased from the current $600 to $2,000. "I am asking Congress to amend the plan to raise the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple," he said.
On December 21, after months of debate, the U.S. Congress finally reached an agreement on a roughly $900 billion (approximately 588.83 billion yuan) pandemic aid package. The funds will be used to support businesses and unemployment programs.
