TechFlow news — Glassnode data shows that the Bitcoin balance held by major cryptocurrency exchanges has dropped to its lowest level since August 2018, reaching the lowest point in 27 months. Currently, exchanges hold approximately 2.3 million BTC. Since 2014, the total amount of Bitcoin held by all exchanges had been steadily increasing, rising from 350,000 to nearly 3 million at the beginning of this year—an increase of over 750%. Since then, the total Bitcoin holdings on exchanges have begun to decline. In August this year, exchange Bitcoin balances had already fallen to 2.6 million.
