TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, the Ethereum 2.0 multi-client testnet Medalla officially launched at 21:00 Beijing time on August 4. However, only 57% of staking has been deployed to validate the network, far below the expected 80%. According to developers, this may be because many validators have registered by staking 32 ETH but are not running validator software. As inactive validators are eventually ejected, the network may resolve itself, though this could take at least several hours before full recovery.
