According to an official announcement from BCHNode on July 12, TracyChen, representative of Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN), consulted the Chinese Bitcoin Cash community—including major mining pools, exchanges, key individuals, and holders—on whether they support changing the Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm (DAA) during the November BCH upgrade. The results showed that:
1. Among five mining pools—Antpool, ViaBTC, BTC.TOP, BTC.com, and Huobi Pool—three agreed to modify the DAA.
2. Among the exchanges Huobi, Binance, CoinEx, and Gate.io, three supported the DAA change, while one held a neutral stance.
3. Among key individuals, one-third supported modifying the DAA, one was neutral, and one did not respond.
4. Among BCH holders, 29 out of 30 respondents (96.7%) agreed to the modification in November. Most respondents were from the "BCH100 Club," a prominent group within the Chinese BCH community.
However, the official notice emphasized that the survey is still ongoing.
