According to Hangzhou Release, recently the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee issued a decision on "Strengthening and Optimizing the City Brain to Build a 'Key Window' for National New-Type Smart City Construction." The decision points out that cities are complex mega-systems—both sources and testing grounds for new technologies. Applying cutting-edge technological innovations such as big data, cloud computing, blockchain, and artificial intelligence to transform urban management methods, models, and philosophies has become an essential path toward modernizing urban governance systems and capabilities. Strengthening the central system, accelerating the research, development, and deployment of multi-level nodes within the City Brain's central system, and continuously upgrading its security, stability, and scalability through iterative improvements are emphasized. Efforts will promote the integrated application of frontier technologies—including blockchain, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, IoT, and 5G—within the central system, positioning the City Brain’s central system as a platform for integrated technological innovation.
