Previously, White House technology policy chief Michael Kratsios accused Moonshot AI of training Kimi K3 by distilling Anthropic's Fable. In response to the accusation that "Moonshot AI trained Kimi K3 by distilling Anthropic's Fable", Moonshot AI employee Randy stated, "Fable was publicly released on July 1, and K3 launched on July 15. The team completed the training of a brand new frontier model in just 15 days, which is Guinness World Record-worthy."
