TechFlow news, July 13, according to Caixin, the Qian Zhimin 60,000 bitcoins case held a three-day hearing from July 7 to 9, 2026. In the next stage, the focus of the case will gradually shift to evidence and property tracing (Evidence and Tracing). It is expected that after October this year, it will gradually enter the evidence and substantive trial phase, and the court will focus on:
1. How RMB investment funds entered Lantian Gerui and related accounts;
2. How funds were pooled, transferred, and exchanged;
3. Which funds ultimately have a provable link to the bitcoins seized in the UK;
4. The losses, repayments, and existing compensation status of each applicant;
5. What specific property relationship exists between individual investors, Lantian Gerui Company, and the bitcoins involved in the case.
Analysis suggests that after the dispute over the application of law in this case this July and the judge makes a ruling, it will gradually move from "what law to use for judgment" to "whether evidence can prove rights".
