TechFlow news, July 03, according to Cointelegraph, an anonymous Bitcoin holder has requested a New York court to dismiss a lawsuit. The lawsuit seeks to obtain ownership of 39,069 long-unused Bitcoin addresses. The defendant stated that Bitcoin addresses are merely on-chain addresses, not legal entities themselves, and cannot be sued. The report also noted that even if the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, without the private keys, it is impossible to actually transfer these Bitcoins.
