According to TechFlow, on July 3, CME Group released data showing that its average daily volume (ADV) in June set a new record of 30.6 million contracts, a year-on-year increase of 19%; second-quarter volume reached 29.8 million contracts, the second highest in history. In terms of cryptocurrency, CME's average daily trading volume of cryptocurrency futures contracts in June increased by 76% year-on-year, reaching 334,000 contracts, with a notional value of approximately $10.7 billion, among which the average daily trading volume of micro Bitcoin futures contracts grew by 46%, reaching 77,000 contracts; second-quarter average daily trading volume of cryptocurrency futures contracts reached 250,000 contracts, a year-on-year increase of 32%, with a notional value of approximately $13.7 billion, among which the average daily trading volume of Ethereum futures contracts grew by 10%, reaching 18,000 contracts.
