TechFlow news, June 30, according to TechCrunch, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the establishment of a new "Forward-Deployed Engineers" (Forward-Deployed Engineers, FDE) organization, investing approximately $1 billion in resources to accelerate the deployment and implementation of AI Agents (Agent) for enterprise customers. Currently, OpenAI and Anthropic have also launched similar FDE cooperation mechanisms, partnering with private equity firms to establish related plans sized at approximately $4 billion and $1.5 billion respectively, to promote the expansion of enterprise-level AI applications.
AWS stated that the new team will be directly embedded into customer enterprises, assisting in building and deploying customized AI systems, and driving enterprises to achieve "autonomous capability enhancement" during usage, not only delivering solutions but also helping customers master the ability to continuously develop AI applications.
