TechFlow news, June 30, according to Cointelegraph, the Nasdaq-listed Solana Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Alatau City, Kazakhstan, to provide support for local digital asset finance, blockchain infrastructure, institutional adoption, and platform development. Alatau City plans to build a digital-first smart city and establish pilot zones allowing daily cryptocurrency payments.
The report states that the project secured over $6 billion in potential investment during its roadshow in China, but meanwhile, the project still faces practical challenges such as insufficient infrastructure and regulatory coordination.
