TechFlow reports, on June 30, Crypto.com announced the appointment of former London Stock Exchange Group and Barclays Investment Bank executive Iskandar Vanblarcum as Managing Director of its exchange, responsible for expanding the customer base and driving the development of new products and services for institutional clients, including regulated prediction markets and real-world asset-related businesses. Its recent focus is on launching event contract products for institutions, with plans to gradually open compliant access to global customers.
Vanblarcum has over 20 years of investment banking and financial market infrastructure experience, and has participated in compliance work including the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Framework, and the advancement of Bahamas licensing. Crypto.com stated that this appointment will support its deepening of institutional trading services and strengthen the connection between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem.
