TechFlow News, June 27: According to The Wall Street Journal, Senator John Curtis (R-Utah) and Senator Adam Schiff (D-California) jointly wrote a letter to Michael Selig, Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), urging a federal investigation into Polymarket—a prediction market platform—for promoting fraudulent bets on social media. The letter stated that the allegations are “deeply troubling and require immediate review.” Earlier, The Wall Street Journal had published an in-depth report on Polymarket’s deceptive marketing practices.
