TechFlow News, June 2: Bitget announced a 2.0 upgrade to its U.S. equity spot products. Post-upgrade, the U.S. equity spot tokens will be issued by Reality—the platform’s licensed RWA protocol—with comprehensive enhancements across three dimensions: liquidity depth, asset transparency, and capital efficiency. Concurrently, Bitget launched a limited-time promotion offering a 50% discount on trading fees: makers and takers of U.S. equity spot tokens can enjoy a preferential fee rate of 0.05%.
Following the upgrade, Bitget’s U.S. equity tokens are directly connected to global liquidity pools—including NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange—improving order book depth and execution speed. Stock dividends will be distributed to users’ accounts on a 1:1 basis in token form; cash dividends will be automatically converted into USDT and disbursed. Stock splits and consolidations will be mirrored synchronously onto the on-chain tokens, enabling users to fully enjoy the economic rights associated with direct ownership of U.S. equities.
In terms of asset efficiency, equity tokens can serve as margin for Bitget’s unified account and are compatible with core product lines including grid trading, copy trading, and staking-based lending. This allows users to flexibly manage their capital while holding global equity assets. Approximately 100 leading U.S. equities and ETFs will launch initially, covering major names such as Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and the QQQ ETF.
