In a recent exclusive interview, Mohsen Rezaei, Military Advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, stated that for the United States, continuing the current war is “a path with no turning back,” and that negotiations are the only viable option. Rezaei said Iran stands ready to launch attacks to break any U.S. maritime blockade against Iran if such a blockade persists. He also noted that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has developed a new operational doctrine centered on “asymmetric warfare,” relying on cost-effective drones to strike high-value enemy targets. Rezaei previously served as Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC and played a leading role in shaping Iran’s military theoretical framework. He currently serves as Military Advisor to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and is also a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council. (Jinshi)
