TechFlow News, May 30: According to Bloomberg, citing informed sources, Iran launched a ballistic missile that struck Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The report states that the missile was successfully intercepted mid-flight by Kuwait’s air defense system; however, debris from the missile fell within the base, lightly injuring several U.S. military personnel and severely damaging two MQ-9 Reaper drones.
As of now, neither the U.S. Department of Defense nor Kuwaiti authorities have released further details about the incident. Following this event, regional security in the Middle East has once again drawn market attention.
