TechFlow News: On May 28, blockchain analyst EmberCN (@EmberCN) reported that Trend Research—a secondary investment firm under Jackyi_ld (@Jackyi_ld)—transferred an additional 2.705 million UNI tokens and 114,000 COMP tokens to Binance one hour ago, valued at approximately $8.71 million and $2.13 million respectively. All related positions have now been fully liquidated, resulting in a total loss of $40.29 million.
The firm originally purchased 5.41 million UNI tokens and 228,700 COMP tokens in July last year; it sold them this May at average prices of approximately $3.30 per UNI and $19.40 per COMP.
