TechFlow News, May 28: According to Bloomberg, Google software engineer Michele Spagnuolo was charged in U.S. federal court in New York for allegedly engaging in insider trading on the prediction market platform Polymarket. The indictment states that he placed bets on a popular internet search-related contract from last year and earned over $1 million. Spagnuolo, aged 36, appeared before a judge and was released on a $2.25 million bail. This case has once again drawn public attention to the risks of insider trading in prediction markets.
