TechFlow News, May 19: According to The Block, the Ethereum Foundation has recently experienced another wave of talent attrition. Researchers Carl Beek and Julian Ma announced their departures this Monday. Beek had served for seven years and led the development of Ethereum’s Beacon Chain, making significant contributions to Ethereum’s transition to the PoS consensus mechanism; Ma served for approximately four years, participating in mechanism design, cryptoeconomics, and protocol scalability efforts, and co-authored EIP-7805—a proposal aimed at enhancing Ethereum’s censorship resistance.
Earlier, Co-Executive Director Tomasz K. Stańczak resigned in February this year, and several other senior leaders—including Josh Stark, Barnabé Monnot, and Tim Beiko—have also departed in succession.
