TechFlow News, May 18: According to CoinGlass data, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours reached $789 million, comprising $700 million in long-position liquidations and $89.72 million in short-position liquidations. Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations totaled $238 million ($212 million in long positions and $25.76 million in short positions); Ethereum (ETH) liquidations amounted to $297 million ($273 million in long positions and $24.10 million in short positions); and Solana (SOL) liquidations stood at $30.56 million ($29.53 million in long positions and $1.03 million in short positions).
Over the past 24 hours, a total of 122,065 traders were liquidated. The largest single liquidation occurred on Bitget’s ETH/USDT perpetual futures (UMCBL) trading pair, valued at $28.49 million.
