TechFlow News, May 15: According to Crowdfund Insider, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently granted a Variation of Permission (VoP) to Revolut Trading Ltd, Revolut’s trading division, authorizing it to manage client investment portfolios and act as a counterparty in certain trading activities. The new permissions cover leveraged investment products, professionally managed investment portfolios, and customized private wealth services for high-net-worth individuals—all of which will be integrated into Revolut’s existing mobile application.
This expansion builds upon Revolut’s acquisition earlier this year of a full UK banking license, further advancing its transformation into a comprehensive financial platform. The company also plans to launch an AI-powered portfolio recommendation tool, though the specific launch date has not yet been disclosed.
