TechFlow News, May 12: According to The Block, the Gyelp Mindful City (GMC) Special Administrative Region of Bhutan has officially launched its Accelerated Licensing Program for globally regulated digital asset enterprises. Companies holding licenses from major financial hubs—including Singapore, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and Hong Kong—can benefit from an integrated regulatory approval and bank account opening process, significantly shortening time-to-market, and can directly obtain corporate bank accounts through DK Bank.
On taxation, GMC offers zero corporate tax (for priority industries), zero capital gains tax, zero dividend tax, and zero inheritance tax. The foreign investment tax exemption policy remains in effect until 2030.
