TechFlow News, May 7: AI programming startup Blitzy has secured $200 million in growth funding, achieving a valuation of $1.4 billion and bringing its total funding to over $204 million—making it the latest unicorn in the Boston area. The round was led by Northzone, with participation from PSG, Battery Ventures, Jump Capital, Morgan Creek Digital, Defiant, and several existing and strategic investors. Founded in 2023 by former NVIDIA architects Sid Pardeshi and Brian Elliott, Blitzy offers an autonomous software development platform designed for large enterprises, capable of orchestrating thousands of intelligent agents in parallel to execute large-scale development, testing, and verification tasks. The new capital will be used to expand its R&D team, broaden its market presence, and deepen collaborations within highly regulated industries such as government, financial services, and insurance.
