TechFlow News: On April 30, Pump.fun officially announced the launch of its Charity Coins feature, which is exclusively integrated with the charitable donation platform Donate.gg. Token administrators (“Coin Admins”) can now designate creator fees—set in the fee configuration—to be directly donated to up to five charitable organizations. Over 10,000 charities are already supported, with no additional onboarding required from the charitable organizations.
This integration aims to address issues previously associated with self-managed donations, including uncertain donation execution, potential tax-triggering events, and malicious attacks targeting charities’ social media accounts.
