TechFlow News, April 28: On April 28 local time, the Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy stated that Iran has achieved absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz and demanded that all passing vessels pay transit fees. He emphasized that Iran’s territorial sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is inviolable and that foreign vessels transiting the strait must comply with Iranian regulations—including using Persian for communications. “Not a single liter of oil will leave the Strait without the Supreme Leader’s order and the will of the people,” he declared. He added that Iranian forces are currently “with fingers on the trigger,” maintaining a high state of alert. He asserted that U.S. naval hegemony in the Persian Gulf has ended and reiterated Iran’s capability to counter any form of maritime blockade. (CCTV News)
