TechFlow News: According to Caixin Global, on April 6, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media on April 4, demanding that Iran reach an agreement with the United States or open the Strait of Hormuz by April 6, adding, “Time is running out—only 48 hours remain before total catastrophe strikes them.” On April 5, he again demanded that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz, threatening that failure to comply would leave Iran “living in hell,” and posted that “April 7 will be Iran’s power plant day and bridge day,” implying intense bombing of Iranian power plants and bridges. Subsequently, Trump briefly posted on social media: “8 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday (April 7)!” U.S. media reported that this statement appears to extend once again the so-called “deadline” he set for Iran.
