TechFlow News, April 1st: According to Kr36, AI hardware operating system company Boundless Ark recently closed two consecutive Pre-A rounds of financing. Investors include Shokz—a globally renowned wearable brand—Guoruiyuan Fund, Hengsong Capital, and Shanghai Angel Club. E-Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor. Within the past year, the company has completed four funding rounds totaling hundreds of millions of RMB.
Boundless Ark’s core product is the AI operating system EVA OS, positioned as the “hardware version of OpenClaw”—essentially an Agent framework running natively on hardware edge devices, supporting a wide range of endpoints including robots, earbuds, and smart glasses. Developers simply describe their requirements in natural language, and EVA OS autonomously handles program coding, driver debugging, and application deployment—completing tasks in approximately 30 minutes, a dramatic improvement over traditional approaches requiring three engineers and two to three months.
EVA OS employs a cloud–on-device collaborative architecture, achieving voice latency under 250ms and multimodal feedback latency under 350ms—significantly outperforming industry-standard solutions averaging ~600ms. Its proprietary end-to-end model reduces voice processing costs to just one-twentieth of those of standard industry solutions, while perception model costs drop by 70%–92%. Since the launch of EVA OS 1.0 three months ago, over 2,500 enterprises and R&D institutions have integrated the platform, covering categories such as AI earbuds, AI glasses, desktop robots, and robotic arms.
