TechFlow news: On March 27, according to JIN10 Data, Apple plans to open Siri to third-party AI assistants—a major move aimed at transforming the iPhone into an AI platform. According to insiders, Apple is preparing to implement this change as part of a comprehensive overhaul of Siri in its upcoming iOS 17 operating system update. While Siri has already integrated with ChatGPT through Apple’s collaboration with OpenAI, Apple will now allow competing service providers to integrate as well. Insiders say Apple is developing new tools enabling AI chatbot apps installed via the App Store to integrate with the Siri assistant. These chatbots will also work in tandem with the upcoming Siri app and other features within the Apple Intelligence platform.
