TechFlow News, March 18: According to The Block, over 20 decentralized finance (DeFi) projects jointly issued an open letter urging major U.S. universities to incorporate DeFi and cryptocurrency education into the core curricula of their business and law schools.
This initiative is structured around the “1inch Forward” campaign led by 1inch. Participating organizations include the Blockchain Association, DeFi Education Fund, The Solana Policy Institute, Aave Labs, and Dune. The campus tour will launch on March 27 at the University of Pennsylvania.
The open letter recommends that universities integrate courses on blockchain architecture and decentralized technologies into their core curricula, teach students DeFi mechanisms such as automated market makers (AMMs), and provide hands-on opportunities for students to engage with real-world DeFi systems. The participating projects stated they are willing to assist in curriculum design and offer internships and research fellowships.
