Proposed last year by Anza_xyz, the proposal introduces p-tokens—a more computationally efficient token model—that can boost Solana transaction computational efficiency by up to 19x. According to Solana Foundation’s Vice President of Technology, this upgrade is expected to be deployed to the mainnet in April this year.
