TechFlow News, March 10: According to Fortune, the organizers of Token2049 Dubai confirmed that this major cryptocurrency industry conference—scheduled for late April this year—will proceed as planned. An event spokesperson stated that registration is trending toward sell-out, exhibition space has been fully booked, and preparations with the venue and partners are progressing on schedule.
Previously, multiple conferences and sporting events have been postponed or canceled due to escalating conflicts in the Middle East. Last week, following U.S.-Israeli strikes against Iran, parts of Dubai’s main airport were damaged, and missile debris landed on the Palm Jumeirah artificial island, injuring four people.
Token2049 Dubai is regarded as one of the largest annual cryptocurrency events. This year’s speakers include Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump; Shayne Coplan, CEO of Polymarket; and Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether. Last year’s event attracted over 15,000 attendees.
