TechFlow News, March 10: Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin disclosed on social media that the Ethereum Foundation is staking 72,000 ETH using DVT-lite technology.
Vitalik stated that the project aims to enable institutions to perform distributed staking in the simplest, one-click manner possible. Users need only select the computers on which they wish to run nodes and create a configuration file enabling all nodes to use the same key; all subsequent setup will be automated. He indicated plans to deploy this solution shortly and expressed hope that more ETH-holding institutions would adopt this staking approach to achieve highly distributed staking node authority.
