TechFlow News, February 26: According to The Economic Times, Indian digital payment processor Billdesk will acquire Worldline’s India business for approximately $70 million in equity value. Under the terms of the deal, Worldline will establish a long-term technology and software partnership with Billdesk to ensure the continued operation of Worldline’s software systems in India. Worldline stated that the transaction is expected to close in the second half of this year; following completion, Worldline will continue operating its Global Capability Center in India, which serves the Group’s Western European business.
