TechFlow News, February 24: According to The Block, Taylor Lindman, former Deputy General Counsel at Chainlink Labs, officially joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday as Chief Legal Officer of the agency’s Crypto Assets Task Force. Lindman succeeds former Chief Legal Officer Michael Selig, who has now become Chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
According to the report, Lindman held multiple senior legal roles during his more than five years at Chainlink, gaining extensive experience in oracle networks and smart contract data infrastructure within institutional finance. The SEC’s Crypto Assets Task Force, led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, was established last year to explore regulatory approaches for various aspects of tokenization and decentralized finance (DeFi) through a series of roundtable discussions.
