TechFlow News: On February 12, the first batch of digital RMB smart contracts for payroll disbursement in Sichuan Province was successfully implemented in Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, disbursing over RMB 1 million in wages to 104 construction workers. This technology enables “wages credited instantly, immune to interception, and fully traceable throughout the process,” offering an innovative solution to the problem of wage arrears for migrant workers. Local enterprise Yizhi Technology developed the “Anxin Zhu” (Peace-of-Mind Construction) platform, which provided technical support for this initiative by integrating business flows with fund flows to effectively resolve payroll distribution challenges. Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone has established an intelligent supervision system covering 176 construction projects and 164,600 workers, having disbursed over RMB 2.817 billion in wages, achieving a payroll disbursement rate of 98.62%. Sichuan Province will continue advancing its “AI+” initiative, expanding the application of digital RMB to scenarios such as wage payments for migrant workers.
