TechFlow News: On February 5, according to CoinGlass data, the total liquidation amount across the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours reached $1.18 billion, including $1.007 billion in long-position liquidations and $173 million in short-position liquidations.
Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations amounted to $534 million ($534 million in long positions and $65.37 million in short positions), while Ethereum (ETH) liquidations totaled $198 million ($198 million in long positions and $69.83 million in short positions). A total of 255,169 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on the Aster BTC/USDT trading pair, valued at $11.37 million.
