TechFlow News: On January 27, Joe Chalom, CEO of SharpLink, recently commented on the comparison between Solana and Ethereum, noting that while Solana offers fast transaction speeds and low costs, it falls short in security and has suffered multiple network outages. Chalom emphasized that genuine institutional investors primarily focus on three factors: trust, security, and liquidity—explaining why high-value applications such as fund transfers, asset tokenization, and ownership representation are predominantly built on Ethereum. He stated that over 65% of stablecoins and tokenized assets reside on Ethereum, representing a scale ten times larger than the corresponding assets on Solana.
