TechFlow reports, on January 18, according to Crowdfund Insider, the Algorand Foundation announced it is relocating its U.S. headquarters to Delaware and appointing a new board of directors to advance the foundation's operations in the United States and its next phase of strategic expansion. The new board will focus on driving initiatives related to global payments and asset tokenization. Board members include Bill Barhydt, founder and CEO of Abra (chairman); Executive Vice Chairman of United Texas Bank Dallas; Alex Holmes, former CEO of MoneyGram; Michael Mosier, former acting director of FinCEN at the U.S. Department of the Treasury; Rebecca Rettig, Chief Legal Officer of Jito Labs; and Staci Warden, CEO of Algorand Foundation.
