TechFlow reported on January 16 that according to Coinglass data, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours reached $222 million, including $169 million in long positions and $53.05 million in short positions.
BTC liquidations amounted to $60.72 million, while ETH liquidations reached $31.16 million. A total of 109,413 individuals were liquidated within the past 24 hours, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $5.1 million.
