TechFlow reported on January 16, according to PRNewswire, prediction market platform Slips has raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by Las Olas Capital and Sunset Bay Capital, with participation from investors including Andrew Schwartzberg, co-owner of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets and Leeds United.
Slips is a social-first peer-to-peer betting platform where users bet directly against each other rather than against a house. The platform offers products including Heads Up, Pools, Tourlays, and AI-generated peer-to-peer prediction markets, and supports geolocated group features for bars, stadiums, and private clubs.
