TechFlow reports, January 14: Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently published an article stating that Ethereum's core vision—building a decentralized application ecosystem supporting finance, social media, governance, and other domains—is gradually becoming a reality. With Ethereum's transition to proof-of-stake, advancements in ZK-EVM technology, and the implementation of Layer 2 scaling solutions, blockchain infrastructure has significantly improved.
Vitalik specifically highlighted Fileverse (a decentralized document collaboration platform) as a success story. The platform uses Ethereum and the Gnosis chain for account management and transmits document changes via decentralized storage, ensuring users can still access and edit content even if the platform itself disappears. He noted that decentralized applications have made a qualitative leap from experimental tools in 2014 to practical collaboration platforms by 2026, declaring, "A decentralized renaissance is coming."
