TechFlow news, January 13 — According to Dlnews, the Russian Pension and Social Insurance Fund revealed that a significant number of Russian retirees wish to receive their pensions in cryptocurrency and mine Bitcoin during their free time.
The fund stated that in 2025, it received a total of 37 million inquiry calls from retirees, with questions about cryptocurrency pensions ranking among the most frequent requests. Many asked whether they could receive their pensions in cryptocurrency, while others inquired whether income from mining would be counted toward social benefit payments.
