TechFlow news, January 11 — Vitalik posted on X stating: "The current crypto industry needs better decentralized stablecoins. In my view, there are three issues:
1. Ideally, we should find a more suitable tracking index than the U.S. dollar price. Tracking the dollar is acceptable in the short term, but part of the vision for national resilience should be independence from this pricing benchmark.
2. Design a decentralized oracle that cannot be easily captured by large amounts of capital. Without a decentralized oracle, to prevent attacks or manipulation, the capture cost (i.e., the cost an attacker must bear) must exceed the market value of the protocol's token.
3. Address the problem caused by competition in staking yields. If the staking yield issue remains unresolved, users will face annual returns lower by several percentage points, making it difficult to attract funds over the long term."
