TechFlow news, on January 8, according to DL News, Brazilian political activist and presidential candidate Renan Santos stated that Brazil needs to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve. As the founder of the Partido Missão, Santos believes that "a national Bitcoin reserve is a viable proposal" and mentioned that some countries have already started doing this, such as El Salvador.
Santos expressed his trust in blockchain technology, believing that the public sector can utilize this technology to combat corruption, calling blockchain a "cool tool" that will "make misappropriation of funds more difficult." Brazil will hold its presidential election on October 4.
