TechFlow news, on January 8th, Ki Young Ju, founder and CEO of Cryptoquant, posted on social media stating that Bitcoin fund inflows have dried up. He pointed out that current liquidity channels are more diversified, making it meaningless to track the timing of fund inflows. Long-term holding institutions have broken the past "whale-retail" selling cycle, and Strategy will not sell its 673,000 Bitcoin holdings.
Ki Young Ju indicated that funds have simply shifted to the stock and precious metals markets. He believes Bitcoin will not experience a drop of more than 50% from its historical high as seen in past bear markets and may maintain a sideways consolidation state in the coming months. He also warned short sellers that "shorting at this level and hoping for a price crash is unwise."
