TechFlow news, on January 8, according to Caixin.com, the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia issued a notice on its website stating that, in addition to Chen Zhi, Cambodian authorities have also arrested two Chinese citizens, Xu Jiliang and Shao Jihui, and extradited them to China.
According to the Cambodian notice, this operation was launched on January 6, 2026, following months of joint investigation cooperation between relevant Cambodian authorities and Chinese agencies. The Cambodian Ministry of Interior further clarified that, in accordance with the Nationality Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Chen Zhi's Cambodian nationality was revoked in December 2025 by a royal decree issued by the King.
