TechFlow news, on January 8th, according to Jinshi Data, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on January 7th that he believes the Russia-Ukraine conflict is expected to end in the first half of 2026. Zelenskyy made these remarks during the opening ceremony of Cyprus assuming the rotating presidency of the European Union, noting that negotiations between Ukraine and its partners in the United States and Europe have entered a new phase. He also emphasized that the EU should play a central role in the negotiation process.
"With Cyprus beginning its term as the rotating presidency of the European Council, we note that negotiations with European partners, and of course with the United States and all members of the 'Coalition of the Willing,' have reached a new milestone," Zelenskyy said. "We sincerely believe that this conflict is expected to conclude during your country's presidency."
